FINE FREE DISCHARGES WILL BE DISCONTINUED
JANUARY 1, 2021

Beginning January 1, 2021, library items returned late will again accrue fines.
  • Adult books, Playaways, CDs and Books on CD: $0.10 per day per item; ​           $5 max fine per item
  • DVDs and Video Games: $1 per day per item; $10 max fine per item
  • All NFPL Children's materials will remain fine free

AIG: Access and Innovation Grant
​We are pleased to announce that our Local History Department was awarded an AIG (Access and Innovation Grant) for 2020 from WNYLRC (Western New York Library Resources Council) for the amount of $8,315. The grant was awarded to digitize the Niagara Falls Gazette from May 1854- February 1916. The digitized materials will be available through New York Historic Newspapers, which is free to all users no matter their location, when the project is completed.
